The Department is equipped with heavy instruments at the disposal of our research, scanning and transmission electron microscopes, ultracentrifuges etc. Furthermore, Anna Kourti has special rooms with growth chambers for rearing experimental insect colonies in which conditions of temperature, humidity and photoperiod can be arranged.
